My childhood was spent in many areas of New England which, I suppose, makes me a true Yankee. I left Portland, Maine after graduation from the University of Maine with a degree in Math, and received a commission as officer in the United States Coast Guard. After the service I spent a little under 45 years in various marine insurance and reinsurance positions. I retired just in time to join the 2020 census as Census Field Manager for Rockland, Orange and Sullivan Counties. My work experience has prepared me well for the Real Estate world. As the Census ended I studied for a real estate license which I obtained in 2022. I have language proficiency at various levels in French, German and Norwegian. I reside in the beautiful town of Rhinebeck with my wife. Our grown children are out of the nest. I’m thrilled to be joining Berkshire Hathaway
